The Swan Song - Part Two

Here is my second illustration for The Swan Song. The first image, again, is the one that originally planned to submit, until I changed plans in the last minute. Nothing much changed for this one though, it's just that I wanted to do the lyrical staff and ribbons digitally, so I had to separate them.

This took a lot more time to work on than the first one. I wanted to do every crack in those bones. I wanted to convey the fragility of a person who has revealed too much of himself to the one he loves.

Hope you get to read the story, it makes my illustration make perfect fake sense.
